At Earth Room Ceramics, we use only food safe glazes and fire our pieces at extremely high temperatures to achieve vitrification stage of the clay. Therefore, unless otherwise specified on the product page, all tableware from Earth Room Ceramics is considered food-safe, as well as dishwasher and microwave safe.

We recommend cleaning our pieces gently and avoiding the use of abrasive scrubbers, which may scratch the surface. To prevent thermal shock, which may lead to cracking or breakage, avoid putting our pieces through extreme temperatures, e.g. pouring hot water into a cold cup fresh out from the fridge.
